The Biblioteca Innocenti Library was established in 2001 as the result of a cooperation project between the UNICEF Innocenti Research Centre and the Istituto degli Innocenti.
The library is located inside the old Ospedale degli Innocenti, in the very heart of Florence; it offers to its public a wealth of about 19.000 documents on childhood and adolescence.
Library will be closed form 23 December 2011 to the 1 January 2012.

Book retraces the history of the social service Pinokkio – quellochenoncera based in Perignano (Pisa). The author, a very important person for the history of the centre, tries to rebuilt its history using interviews.
