

The Biblioteca Innocenti Library was established in 2001 as the result of a cooperation project between the UNICEF Innocenti Research Centre and the Istituto degli Innocenti.
The library is located inside the old Ospedale degli Innocenti, in the very heart of Florence; it offers to its public a wealth of about 19.000 documents on childhood and adolescence.
INTERLIBRARY LOAN SERVICE
Service available by Monday 22 March. A limit of 3 requests per 30 days is fixed for each user. Inter-library loans may not be renewed.
Symposium:
PERCEIVING CHILDREN - the Visual Anthropolgy of Childhood
From August 28 to 29 The Innocenti Library will partecipate to the Symposium PERCEIVING CHILDREN - the Visual Anthropolgy of Childhood organized within the 30th NAFA International Festival of Ethnographic Film. The Symposium will be held at Moesgard Museum in Aahrus, Denmark. The Symposium will explore issues linked to the representation of childhood in the media, anthropology, museum and how children perceive themselves and their peers.
The Library will present activities related to the knowledge of the
condition of childhood and in particular the activities concerning the documentation on cinema and the media.
